Default New 2010 GT3RS - good to be back in RS!!

Well the madness/insanity/issues, call it what you want continues!!

I guess I missed PetFrog more then I thought

Bought today and had Alex from Sharkwerks come pick it up and take it directly to his shop for IMMEDIATE modding

Here is what we are doing:

- custom Sharkwerks Track Exhaust (3.5 Inches from the cat back) save 40/50lbs!
- custom tips in matte black
- EvomSit Tuning
- Decals removed
- Wheels being painted Matte Black
- All Red accents being wrapped in Matte Black Vinyl
- Rear wing side extensions in Matte Black Vinyl
- Sharkwerks Red Fire Extinguisher
- Silver hood badge
- Clear Amber lights

and yes Panamera is for sale (Consignment at Carlsen Porsche Redwood City). Loved it but with the GTS no need for 2 4 person cars. Plus after doing several exotic car events I just missed having a sports car that is LOUD and that I can take to the track! So thanks for spreading the word on the Pan!

Fred,

Congratulations. It is great to see a 2010 GT3 RS owner with better taste than the Porsche employees. Good move on the removal of decals and painting the wheels.

On that dark grey color, I would do gloss black wheels (exactly like the 2007 GT3 RS wheels), the center locks in black (they are available), delete all the graphics, paint the wing tips gloss black (like the 2007 GT3 RS), mirrors in carbon fiber (porsche tequipment), center intake in the body color dark grey.

You could give a try to the 2007 GT3 RS graphics, they are cheap. If you don't like them, you can remove them and be done. I think the 2007 GT3 RS graphics (in Black) over that dark grey car should make the car look a lot better.

Great move on removing all that crazy weight behind the rear axle, and tuning the car for the new exhaust system. I'm curious to see what kind of power it puts to the wheels stock, and after the upgrades.

Interesting approach by Porsche, a lighter rear spring given the low suspension travel available in the GT3, finally they are thinking on the small details to save weight.

resistance if futile and you know you will cave in sooner or later.

since the car is already a matte color, i would do gloss black wheels and accents as NJ-GT mentioned.

either way, your RS is going to look awesome!!!

the new BBS centerlocks are the route to go too!

Fantastic Fred! Hope to see you on some trackmaster outing in the near future.

Oh, for your custom license plate. There is only one that fits your RS: PetParrot

Gray RS has the same color scheme as the African gray parrot

Holy crap! Alex must have every RS in the Bay Area as a customer!
Even with the stock exhaust, the cabin is deafening -- don't forget the earplugs.
I had Mariano wrap the colored bits in a new 3M "carbon fiber" weave (actually matches the wing section remarkably well) just to tone down the red.
As for the wheels, I'd get a second set and leave the red ones in a box for resale.
At least it's easy to remove/replace the decals.

Well, congratulations on overcoming your IPD ("impulse purchasing disorder") for as long as you did, but now you've fallen off the wagon again.

There's a CFRA day at Laguna next Friday (April 9th) ... maybe you'll be there.

Thanks for your help today! Cheers,
