i dropped the pccb's, lightweight battery and added in the PCM nav. overall price is little cheaper and i think its better all around track/street car this way. thanks for all the posts and comments. glad this is behind me.

Congrats! Not sure what color combo you landed on but here's White/Red w/decal delete and silver wheels. BTW, it's not behind you until it's locked;-)

thanks, i do like the look, but decided on red wheels since its unique to the RS.
Its done deal now…I hope. maybe i change my mind again tonight and call up the dealer. They are great. very patient! this was like the 5th time I changed my order.

I guess if you are spending that kind of coin they don't mind how oftain you change the build before you are locked in!

My turbo build is sitting at around $173K!

carrering - do you have an estimate on when the build might happen? i also found a 2011 allocation but dealer was not sure whether that meant production before the summer or in the fall (or even later)

My MSRP is 135080. That is including blue tooth, I connect, floor mats (Now all included .) and painted sprayers in the front bumper and thicker steerting wheel. So the base MSRP price did go up a bit..

I kept the classic red wheels also. Changing wheel color , adding decals, and wrap red stuff can be done later.....

Actually the base price is more than that. That does not include destination or gas guzzler tax:

Base price $135,500
Destination $ 950
Gas guzzler $ 1,300
Total base price $137,750 (cough)

With just 2 options (Gray/black and PCCBs) it is a $150K car (cough cough).

I talked to my dealer and he said Porsche changed 2 of their RS allocations from 10's to 11's. The build date didn't change at all. It is just a digit change in the VIN to get more $$$ out of your pocket. It is hard to believe on top of that there are people paying thousands over list.

pretty good situation over here. no gas guzzler. the car is at msrp and i get 3% rebate after pickup. Destination charge which includes factory collection is $660.
might throw the yellow brakes back on it and drop the lift now. i did some measuring of my driveway and it looks like the extra inch in height still won't clear it without an angle given that the 997.2 lip sticks further out than the 997.1

That's pretty typical for Houston. Mine's certainly not the worst on the street.
