Just FYI, these 2 are the same road. Also called the Tail of the Dragon, it has 318 turns in 11 miles. A great driving road for sure!

Great video - that was a very risky maneuver on the part of the police officer however.

Great Ocean Road (as mentioned) Victoria, Australia.
Skyline Blvd (and surrounding roads) California.

I grew up on one of them and I now live on the other. : )

Skyline thru Woodside Rd and La Honda is so good they should all be made one-way (I think installing turn number signs and brake markers would be going too far ... : )

Just say hello to the cop with the laser that spends all day on revenue patrol between Woodside Rd and Sand Hill.

Great thread! What about some good Northern California Gold Country routes? I've heard their are some spectacular roads within driving distance of the Bay Area.

Nice! Wifey is taking the kids to visit her family in June and I will have a few days to "hit the road", as they say, without a lot of explanation! These routes sound perfect!

Second that Carrera GT, great stretch of road although the police tend to spoil it a little more these days...

Where did you grow up? Coastal? Have a mate down in Apollo Bay, time for a visit, I think?
