Default PS2 or PZERO

The Pirrelli Pzero's are about $300 less all around than the PS2's.
I havent read too much about the Pzero's on GT3's.
The Corsa's are just too pricey.
Any thoughts?

My 997 C2S came from the factory with the PZeros. I ultimately switched them out to the PS2s. The PZeros lasted longer, but I definitely got more grip from the PS2s.

I'm selling my new Corsas from my 2010 GT3 within the next few weeks. They have 4 miles on them. Not because I don't like them, I've never had them on any other Porsche. I want a street tire with more life. So, if anyone is interested.

PM me when you are ready.

Best regards,

The P Zero Trofeo is coming out very soon. Just wait a few weeks and get them. I was told by Porsche people that they will be cheaper than the Sport Cups and are much better on the track. Am quite anxious to try them

you should look into the bridgestone re-11's as an alternative. many have had great success and much better longevity.

Almost 1/2 the price, good in the wet, and sticky on the track. What's not to like.

I like the grip of the PS2's, however, their longevity is a major drawback. The Pirelli's last a little longer and are cheaper. I went through a set of rear PS2's in about 4k miles.

used both for street and track, and in the rain. Good times.

My friend put the RE-11s on his Cayman S at the track because his Pirrelli's wore out. He loved them on the track and even drove from Cali to TX through rain and some snow. He likes them.

i have about 1,000 miles on my re-11's and one track day. great tire, solid carcass and very good in the rain. for less than $1100 bucks for a full set (305/30/19's and 245/35/19's) you can't beat the price for performance.
