Default Sport Bucket Seat Change out?

Cross-Post from the 997 Forum

I recently purchased a 2009 C4s with the sport bucket seat (in leather) option. Life changes forces me to swap out my seats and solve for a factory solution (Standard or Sport Seat Option) that will allow me to use a car seat.

Anyone know where I could find Factory (standard or Sport) seats?

Any idea of the marketability of black leather sport buckets (1400 miles)

Since my original post on the 997 forum and another Porsche forum, I was advised to seek advice for this group as well.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I will also post a thread in the for sale area to see if there any enthusiasts interested in a trade.

Change out is simple.. 4 bolts
There is electric for the manual seat back.

No electric for power or adaptive seats.

Airbag light will have to be reset

First, those seats are $6500 new (cheapest price - Suncoast). So, asking $5K with little use would be a bargain. I would not trade them unless you can get at least $3K + another set of seats as they were a 3K option. The real question is if you have the harness underneath for the power for a different set of seats. You will need to look to find out. All the other seats (standard, sport, power or adaptive sport) have power backrests,.
