Indeed JAMS, pictures shot at RDU in Oct of last year.

That GT3 at Pioneer is HOT. I'm not sure how many Maritime 997's there are out there, can't be too many.

It's the only one I know of. There is a Mexico Blue in Monterey (which is not as nice IMHO) and a Riviera Blue in L.A. which I hope to see next week.

i like it more than riviera or mexico blue.
that car though is optioned up.
Exactly. Maritime has that pale, purpleish hue. This looks more like Turquoise to me or better yet, Audi's Nogaro. Looks amazing.

JAMS, if you do get the chance to see the Riviera car, could you please take some photos?

Still looks like Riviera to me. In Germany we used to call it Garbage Bag Blue since the recycle bags are the same color.

Mooty is right, the pictures do not show this color correctly. I checked it out the other day and it is quite stunning. The silver gt3 in the showroom was nice, but this color is just different in a VERY good way (my opinion). Has some nice options too. The "sport" seats were much more difficult to get into than the 996 sport seats I'm use to sitting in. BTW, the sales guy said it was maritime blue.

As has been said many times... it is very difficult to tell from photos but the window sticker does not lie and it is very obvious when you see it in natural light... I even had them take the car outside.

Ha, he was supposed to offer it back to me before selling, but I guess that didn't happen.

Riviera Blue (in L.A.)... IMHO the nicest of the three blues that I have seen on the West coast in the past month. (Maritime in San Diego/ Mexico in Monterey). I would caution anyone choosing either of these colors to invest in a proper paint sample... Photos just do not tell the story. Riviera is actually a deeper and richer color than most photos represent. I reduced the exposure to try and capture a better representation here:

Those painted heater vents are just horrible, looks like a kids tuner special.
