Did you hit those stands with black enamel paint yourself? Looks very nice ... might be harder for someone to "borrow" from the paddock if they're that unique.
I had a pair of those tri-pod AC stands tip over and roll away across the paddock, never to be seen again. Really annoying because I brought them there for a reason (I had a car that needed pads some time that track day) ... and they're not cheap. Couldn't believe they were never returned.
Anyway, I'm not a huge fan of the tri-pod stand -- it gets a bit "precarious" up high. Still, I managed to do an engine-out on a 993 Turbo with just the HLQ and those stands. Always put extra protection under the car, just in case ... better to wreck some expensive wheels than your skull if the car tips off the stands.
ps. I imagine you purposefully misspelled Uzi so as not to give a hint that you carry a pair of custom trigger, self-loaded Glochs in concealed-carry holsters ... : )

I've been working with www.acjacks.com on some powdercoated flat top stands too. Sounds like he's been doing them quite a bit lately.
Here is the color I'm leaning towards right now. I think these are sold but I love the color. I don't know what the policy is on the colors but it sound like if you order a DK13 you get preferential treatment. I've ordered two in the past from him so I think I'm safe.

I know he did these too but I dont believe he is powdercaoting the whole thing any longer. Sounds like it made them to tight.
I also just saw that he has a discount right now. http://www.acjacks.com/acjacks_004.htm

Jams
The black thing in the backround that fits into a floor jack (post # 34). That can lift the front or rear of the car?
Did you have that made up or who makes it?
Thanks, Rich
