Default Noise

I have '10 GT3 and have been surprised at a "knocking" noise at tickover when the engine is warm. Sounds more like a diesel than a GT3!! Has anyone else noticed the same thing?

What is "tickover" ?

There is a TSB addressing Valvetrain noise for MY10

The mechanical noise level of the model year 2010 (A) engine is somewhat higher than on previous GT3 engines; particularly at idle speed and when the engine oil temperature is high.
