Yeah I got a steel open bed with a 82.5 inch deck. can't wait for it to be done. 18 foot with tirerack, tilt fenders, toolbox, electric brakes, spare tire, black.

it's no trailex but I'll be happy.

i went with the Trailex 8045 which is 80 inches wide I think. the smaller trailex was like 75 inches wide (at the point of the deck where you drive onto. and I did not want to have no margin for error when I have to drive the car back on to the trailer. I like the open trailer for ease of operation but sure like to hang out with guys with the enclosed trailers when the weather is bad.

Trailex nomenclature:

CT-7541 ... 75" wide between the fenders, 4100# GVWR

CT-8045 ... 80" wide between the fenders, 4500# GVWR

Trailex tends to refer to the CT-7541 as the "911 trailer". From what I'm reading here, the extra width of the CT-8045 would be a better way to go. As an added bonus, with the 8045 you get an additional 5 1/4 inches between the fenders with only a 2 1/4 inch increase in overall trailer width.

^ i spoke to carl last year about this. it does fit, but 8045 is not much heavier, just get that one and loading is easier.
