Default OK - changed my mine

I went back to the dealer and got my money back today for the 2010 GT3. I just could not buy all the extra options: $1850 for leather seat backs and more $149+ msrp. Even with a pretty good deal. So now that that is out of the way: LWFW and guard 40/60 going in the week of Jan12.

sorry to hear you're not getting a 2010 but it sounds like you're better off. your current GT3 is awesome though and apparently only getting better.

I drive the car every day and the 50/80 would be a bit of a hassle per Paul Guard when we spoke.

For that amount of money I would wait to see if you can get a lightly optioned RS.

LWFW and guard 40/60 are a great first start, but with the money you just saved you could afford to send your car to Sharky for the full 3.9 treatment.

It is too bad you could not get to order one. I had a deposit in early to make sure I got one the way I wanted it. Consider opening up your search and looking cross country. Even if you had to pay $1000 to transport it, it could still be over $20K less than this car.

G,
Happen to be at Barrier @4PM meeting a friend. Saw your almost 2010, lots of extras and very nice.
Your current 997.1 GT3 is still a great ride. Given your new found windfall, let the mods begin.

Humm, I would be careful on the mods. If you had the intention of changing car, no matter how much cash you dump into it, the thought will always come back. If I were you, I'd keep looking for a car like you want it before I'd go bobsleigh down the mod slope.

way too much extra stuff. Nice turbo interior but $149.. They call and offered a free LWFW on the 10 if I went through with it. I will keep the 07 for 2 years and see what happens.

Thanks, I was not looking the dealer came to me with a pretty good deal on my car but I just got it 10 months ago and I can not just **** money away. I am on my 5 Porsche and I have never bought a new one. So the mods will be: LWFW, R-6, wevo mounts, and some TRG bits to hold the alinement. That will hold me for another 2-3 years,
. My last GT3 I had for 4 years and 60,000 miles.
