Default 997.1 RS Rod antenna
Why would somebody spec a rod antenna on an RS? I'm looking at the car to purchase and have never seen this before.

Yep... I know that car... If it's that white one GO for it. She was very well taken care of and should go to a good home

Not white. It's Artic and orange. Which white one are you referring to?

Steven's Creek, I think. I thought it might have been a mistake, but you actually have to order the rod antenna to get it.

^ yes, it's an option. i know of three cars in USA with that option. maybe more.

not steven creeek, white car with red decal is at fletcher jones (fremont porsche)

there is a rod antenna rs in my neck of the woods - a white one - never understood that

can it be removed without any sign of it's existence?
is really the only point of the rod antenna better radio reception?

MJones nailed it. AM reception is iffy with the in glass antenna. No other reason for it unless you drive out in the boonies. Not ugly in my view though.

I see no RS on the Stevens Creek inventory. The white/red RS at Fletcher Jones is special.

Steven's Creek had a Silver/Orange RS awhile ago... not nearly as nice as the FJ car; in either color or condition.

I don't know if it's still there, but for some reason they don't list a lot of the GT cars on their website and that one never was so I might still be there...
