I'm a bit partial to Gulf myself.

Our 1988 Gulf Blue Carrera Club Sport - 1 of 28 - and the only Gulf Blue Club Sport in the world.

Blue/Brown (with a hint of red). It also has a wooden shift ****. The original owner ordered it to replicate the 917.

If it were a trademark concern, you would think Gulf would agree to the usage, and appreciate the free advertising. To a large extent, it's a dead brand, at least here in the US. What about the FordGts?

make sure you wash them first...gulf blue with brown racing stripes would not look good imho!!!

I submitted an order for a Gulf Blue 997S Cab in 2005 and after 90 days Porsche AG came back and said sorry. They couldn't do it. It had to do with the lightness of the color and it being non-metallic. It has nothing to do with the company Gulf Oil or copyrights. (Where do people come up with this stuff??)

The car would have come out looking like a two-tone, so they said that if they were unhappy with it, I would probably be so as well.

That other blue shown on this thread (997) is not Gulf blue. Gulf blue is much lighter. The Carrera GT is painted GB--but their process is entirely different on those cars (all the parts are shot together--the 997s are assembled from pieces painted separately by their respective vendors).

A wrap over an orange RS could be very cool. Especially with some of the orange details inside. Stitching, center console, cage etc. How much is a full wrap? 5k?
