Great talking to you, Simon.

Thanks for detailed explanation for all my questions!
I'll keep you posted.

By the way, here is a photo of my GT3 twin turbo progress from IMA Motorsports in Virginia.

I can't wait to have the twin turbo finalized and fenders/wheels installed! Once I'm done, I'll make a new thread

Wow. TT GT3? But why didn't you just get a GT2?

Silverboy,

I'm a poor guy looking for GT2 performance out of GT3

No, in all seriousness, this GT3 was my first porsche. I just fell in love with the overall appearance with it. No busy side vents and clean, yet aggressive front bumper. I also loved the center exit exhaust on GT3.

When I bought this, I never looked at turbo, nor GT2 (didn't even know it existed), because it was just too perfect. Coming from a modified E46 M3, I thought the performance was fantastic, too.

Now that I have had this car for awhile, I've gotten used to the power. I've tried to look for FI option for this car, but they all replied the same as you, except IMA Motorsports

I just want a bit more power and I think this TT kit will do just fine. IMA Motorsports is final tuning the car as I type

the GT3 motor is a great motor, better than the GT2 motor IMHO.

a GT3 motor turbocharged has to be very interesting!

i wonder about compression etc....

Many were skeptical about turbo/supercharging E46 M3 in the beginning due to high compression and tuning complexity, but look where it is today.

Horsepowerfreaks has done all their homework and their kits are one of the best in today's market for FI option for E46 M3.

As long as the shop know what they are doing and how to tune the car, it should be all good. I'm hoping to make 530-550 at the wheel.

I'm sure BBS E88 wheels and widened front will compliment my TT well

By the way, tcsracing1, stop hoarding the GT3 RS spoiler! Sell it to me

Ivan's 996 GT3 TT made 516 rwhp on that dyno. Given 997 GT3 makes more power out of the factory, it should be right around 550 rwhp for mine.

Simon,

My apology for having a second thought on your sale items. I decided to just sell my wheels and get new BBS E88.

Thank you.

Willing to part out the wheels and fenders, PM me if you're interested in either item.
