Sharkwerks sounds the best to me, but I have also been at the GMG racing facility and heard the GMG bypass. It sounded great just a different tone. It would be hard to pick out one. I know both are great
and when I put on the Sharkwerks bypass on I was totally blown away.

Any warranty issues from any jerk off dealers? I know that logically this modification does nothing to hurt the car....but if the dealer (or Porsche) wanted to be difficult, couldn't they technically reject any engine related warranty claim?

Yes and no, I think it depends heavily on the dealer. My dealer (apparently at the factory's insistence) recently made me remove the Sharkey bypass on my RS before they would address a leaking front crank seal. Once the OEM center muffler was reinstalled, they replaced the seal under warranty. Go figure!

On the other hand, Suncoast Porsche down in Fla. actually sells the Sharkey kit on their website. It would seem they have no problem with it.

Again totally dependent on the individual dealer. Might want to ask the dealership beforehand if you want to perform any modifications. If they say no you may want to seek another dealership to do business with.

I love Sharky's bypass pipes, had the pleasure of driving an RS with them and it's pure bliss! FVD is top notch too..

My favorite though is Grussell's old setup, Cargraphic bypass pipes? Not sure what else he had

I also love GMG's bypass setup's in THESE videos, not so much the others.. I'm sure there are different variations between all, as far as LWFW, ecu tuning? Who knows, they all don't sound the same!

And yes that is the one. Awesome, will for sure shoot for that sound for when I do my 6GT3.
Right now I only have one close friend, actually from high school, that can hang with me when we drive around, he has an NSX too. And just bought an M3 and put about $35k into it. Told him for that one he could get a second hand TT.

Is that the FVD/Brombacher you speak of? And could I get that out of similar exhaust from Sharky or GMG?

Reminds me so much of the road-type cars I would see in Long Beach during the Grand Prix week in my youth.
I'm in the RS. Talk to Rhonda at FVD, she's great! BTW I have no affiliation with FVD and I'm not compensated in any way. Also keep in mind that FVD's stuff is made by M&M, research them as well.

I went with SW pipes - Sounds amazing! I get comments all the time - P-cars, F cars etc. It screams at high rpms but itsn't loud or annoying around town. I havent heard the others, so who knows - but SW does a great job and Alex is a good guy as well!

DRG13,

Our bypass with tips is actually on sale currently for - $1,390.60

That is incredible value for the money as all of our exhaust products are now made by M&M in Germany. M&M produce's the full line of exhausts for the Cup, CupS & RSR. As far as quality, sound and power are concerned quite frankly all 15 of their products for GT3's are incredible. I am waiting for a video from a few customers on this bypass so hopefully I can post something soon.

Tacet-Conundrum,

For your 6GT3 this may appeal to you. The Orange RS has a race set up 200 cell cats, see picture below.

Thanks,
Rhonda
