DRG13,

We would use a black ceramic coating for you but we would coat the whole peice. The charge is an additional $ 175.00.

Thanks,
Rhonda

Cheers Jim.... we tried a few different designs back in the day to make sure we had a wife-approved mode There's a few ways to make it with diameter of the piping that make a whole bunch of difference there

Well, I ordered the SharkWerks bypass and their RS light weight exhaust tips. From all of the threads and sound clips, it sounds like a great product. Once my car arrives in early January, that is my first mod. Thanks go out to Dan and SharkWerks.

+1 for Sharkwerks centre muffler bypass and larger exhaust tips!!!

Had a rare opportunity to let a friend drive my car while I followed in his. I was shocked how beautiful the sound was. For interior noise, I don't notice it until after about 3200rpms in sport mode. If I am DD, I won't hit that rpm and the noise is quite civil.

Perfect balance for me for DD and more spirited driving!

Unplug it and it will sound beautiful at low RPM also. It is louder, but can can still be on bluetooth up to 80MPH or 3500RPM or so. You can plug it in if you need to go far.

I had the GMG on my .1 997 and I have the sharkwerks with Ti tips on my .2 ... I personally prefer the sharkwerks over the GMG which created a little booming resonance mid-range in the cabin of the .1.

Another plus of the Sharkwerks is that you can reuse your factory tips or replace them with either the larger shark tips or his awsome Ti tips ...

How does the Sharkwerks compare with just plugging the bypass on the stock exhaust? Did the latter on my '08 RS and, while loud, sounds consistent thru the rev range. Only downside is modest resonance at about 3K rpm's but I just drive around that. Anybody compare the two?

my sharkwerks bypass does not drone at any rev range, plugged or unplugged. i never had it unplugged while stock so i cant comment if it droned or not.
