Road Trip Across America Day 2
Well the day started out great and continually diminished from bad to worse.
A couple of things, the days are short at this time of the year, start in the dark, finish in the dark.
Average speed can be good and get swaked, due to traffic.
A bit of a line at the Border control check point.
Then traffic comes to an abrupt halt, and just sit...at one point it took over 5 min from mile marker to mile marker...What is the problem...Texas DOT had a lane shut down so two became one...urg...
13 hrs in the chair today but did not make the distance I had hoped for..the last straw was a thunder shower o the East side of Dallas, its dark, the car moves around a bit, hard to see, then a semi passes, cant't see a thing, then another...thats it, I cry uncle, I'm done for the day
More tomorrow..
Some silly videos and a couple of pics...

Another great update---thanks for sharing the videos.
Just thinking...
You might want to communicate your upcoming travel plans/route each evening. That would give Rennlist locals the opportunity to comment on road conditions. Might be helpful.

Good on ya Mjones... Great way to run her in and get everything bedded in... They are certainly built to be driven. Planning to take a week off for a nice long trip when mine eventually arrives...
