Smile GT3RS Order-Jan Build-Final Specs (I hope)

Here's what I finally settled on for my order. I have waffled, changed, re-changed, and finally set the following specs for my January build:

Grey/Black with Guards Red
PCCB
Front Lift System
Sound Package Plus
Universal Audio Interface
Painted Nipples
Dynamic Headlights

Just what I consider the "essentials."

Without PCM (sat nav), that option doesn't provide iPod or USB connectors.

Without PCM it provides iPod/mp3 connection, but not through a USB connection. You have to control the device (shuffle, forward, back, etc.) from the device itself and it runs from the device battery.

When do they lock in the car?

My build date is 02-22-10, I wonder what the latest change date will be.
I think I am all set on what I want, but the thicker steering wheel is not "taking in the order system" yet.
I hear in January, so I might run out of luck on that one.

Hey Flash- congrats! Very exciting. Looks like a great spec. What is your build day in Jan? Your order is probably within days of locking? Looks like you will be getting one of the first cars delivered! woo-hoo!

Curious why you choose not to match the PCCB with the Gold and instead went with Red? Going to look great regardless.

My March build:
Front Lift System
Painted Nipples
Carbon door sill
Thicker wheel
Alcantara lid with logo
Full leather
Footrest in Aluminum
Floor mat
Most likely Grey/Gold

Would the Grey/Gold be a good combo?

I did not get anything from the Audio/Communicatin section since this is not my daily driver. The Universal Audio Adapter on Non-PCM cars is just a mini-stereo jack so I figure it's pretty useles since all my music is in the 8GB USB in the M3.

I read your post thinking funny that I ordered Gold without PCCBs. Another non matched wheel and caliper.

Not taking lightweight battery yet either. Sat with dealer on Friday and tried to input into order system. No go. Probably both will take as we get closer to 1/2010. Hopefully well before lock down.

Im not a big gold fan. I saw the grey/red car with PCCB and it looks fantastic. According to my invoice, my build date is 1/22/10.

The gold does not look too bad, but it just does not fit the calipers and seat belts, if you could change those it would be a toss up.
I am not a big fan of red either, but at least we are down to 3 colors, white, red and black, instead of maybe 5; Body color, gold, red and maybe yellow for PCCB's.

I ordered sticker delete and probably end up making all the red stuff black to have only 2 colors left. I will wrap the car completely, except for the back, with something when it arrives.
Maybe an after-track-weekend-in the-rain motief with rubber marks, lots of grime streaking from the front to the rear. Always like that look. In Satin/Flat. Anyone knows who does this in South Florida?

Flash1034, yours arrives exactly 1 month before mine: 02-22-10.
What should we add for an ETA at the dealer? 3-4 weeks is normal for shipping containers to the East Coast, but are there any Porsche delays to and from the port, prep, etc. ?

I just noticed that you can get yellow seat belts, so if you go PCCB, not too bad.
I wish I could order black seat belts as red, yellow and silver are impossible to keep clean.

There's no shortage of red on the car to set off the red seatbelts. The yellow calipers will look great. Look at the pics of the GT3RS displayed at the Frankfurt Auto Show. The car looks amazing.
