Hey guys, i'm Richie from long island, ny..i am an active member on many of these forums..i look forward to being a member of the rennlist community..below are a few pictures of my cars..I have a 08 Lamboghini LP640, 07 Ferrari F430, 06 Bentley Flying Spur, 08 Dodge Challenger, and 83 Porsche 911 SC..I am currently looking at for a White GT3 RS and have found this one...are there anymore around and what should they be selling for..is this a good deal..
Whats the advantages over a turbo ( it is slower..right?) and also what do you think..should i wait fr 2010.. Whats new about that one.. I believe it has upgrade to 3.8 but i dont think this color combo is avalible.. What are you thoughts ad advice

RS is slower than turbo, less torquey then turbo, cost more than turbo due to mk up, noiser and bumpier than turbo, much harder to drive fast than turbo. there is NO advantage of an RS over turbo other than it is an RS.

sounds strange...
but that's the truth.

the best deal on a white RS is this car: http://www.gt3rsregistry.com/2007GT3RS/vin/2507.htm

2007 RS are selling for 100-120 depending on miles/options

2008 RS with super low miles are fetching 140s

If you want a super deal, buy 2007 RS. If you got the money, then buy the 2010 RS. I just couldnt bring myself to spend 159 on a 2008 RS with the 2010s enroute.

2010, White, stripe deleted.

The turbo is a nice grand tourer. The RS is like having the CUP car in your driveway with full interior.
with the high rev engine (like your ferrari) you wont miss having turbos.

If you are into pure Thoroughbred race cars like the CUP, then the RS is what you want.

If you are going to drive the car more on the road and like to be pampered ( silly of me to say that, seeing you have a Bently and want instant massive power then a TURBO is what you want.
If you want a track star then an RS is what you must have....
If money is no object and you are willing to pay up 20-30k over MSRP then wait for 2010. RS.
If you want the best RS on the market at a bargin price then the 07/08 production run is what you should look for....expect to pay 120-130K for a low mileage clean one...this one IMO is overpriced.
I saw a white one on this forum for sale for much less than that...BTW GREEEEEN is the best color

Have you seen the thread '97 GT3 RS For Sale on this very forum? Looks like an awesome example in the color you want for a great price.

If you can't decide, maybe a GT2 is the answer?
