Default New GT3 RS allocation for May production vehicle

Well, I thought I could live without my 2007 RS so I sold it six months ago. Big mistake! Fortunately, I found out today that I have an allocation for a May production GT3 RS. So now the questions and decisions begin. First of all, I think ALL the new color combo's are ugly as S….. However, I had a lot of success (it was a tough sell) in getting the factory to allow me to make several changes to my 2007 and I'm hoping to have the same success in getting them to allow changes to the new one. Has anyone been able or attempted to make any changes yet?

Second, am I crazy? I'de swear I saw on the Porsche "Colorator" a few months ago, that you could get black.

So far I'm thinking (if Black is not an option):

White, White rear spoiler end caps and spoiler, White mirrors, White front inner lip, White anodized rear spoiler support braces, delete all decals except for the ones that say "GT3 RS".

Kinda like this (I suck at photo editing)

Phillip...
Hindsight is 20/20...

Think that you may be out of luck, as the "Special Wishes Dept." and PCNA don't play well together.

You likely will be on your own...time to start writing/calling PAG to see if possibilities exist

Hi Phillip! I was in your PSDS group back in April (3-day race program). According to my dealer, you do not have to pick a contrasting color for the RS -- he apparently confirmed this with PCNA directly. PM me if you want further details. Best, Pete

Looks like you are among the first US buyers to be notified of an allocation. Did your dealer contact you to say so? Or?

Congrats!

May production means approx July delivery??? UGH! I feel your pain (and raise you 2x )

Yes, the dealer notified me yesterday. Same scenario as my 2007 RS (May build; picked up the car in July).

I called my dealer today and they still have no confirmed allocation yet...but they expect two cars.

I was told 220 cars have been allocated to the USA, down from 250.
