Default PSDS Masters Plus course

Just returned from the PSDS 3 day course.
As always their programs are top shelf!
If you have never been...just go.
Interesting to note that this was their 4th, 3 day course.
There were 18 participants (max 20) and 25% were repeat customers!
I think that says allot about the course

Instructors of note:
Hurley Haywood (Brumos #59)
Andrew Davis (3 place in driver points Rolex GT)
Owen Trinkler (Koni Challenge Driver)

A couple of videos for you to look at:

SKIDPAD always a challenge:

PDK S (Malachite Green) and the other cars were 6 speed silver Carerras. You could really feel the difference in power between the two.

The instructors always drive the white turbos.

Also a good example of the engine/trans protecting itself as I somehow blew the upshift (!!??!!)(pulled instead of pushed) and you hear it bouncing off the rev limiter

While on the track we always had an instructor "leader" to be followed, and speeds were pretty conservative. They split groups to respect skill/comfort levels. MJones got to run free (without instructor lead car) in his advanced level course.

The cars are very progressive as you push the limits and very confidence inspiring. I have come to love the "Porsche wiggle" under hard braking into a corner. Awesome to feel the chassis and electronics working under you.

The Barber Motorsports track is fantastic.

Correct- they don't utilize that Race-Keeper feature in class, but it is there if you want it later. Braking vs Turning. Helps visualize your balance of inputs. I think this cars sensors had a glitch as it was showing a turn while going straight.

Here is another vid sans missed shifts: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAf7wfJkFbI It isn't "race" school (in this class) but no reason for some of us not to use the opportunity to chase the instructor

If you have ever had any desire to explore what these cars can do, you MUST attend a PSDS course.

is there a way to go straight to the masters? The cost coming from Seattle for the first just to get into the masters is a lot of time and money.
