Just to reiterate some of the views from members here. There are two categories of installations:

Precut application
1. these are provided to the installer in a template for designed specifically for the vehicle
2. there are variations in kit fitment. Some precut kits fit better and have fewer pieces per panel
3. precut applications generally do not work well for customers who are very keen with seams

Custom application
1. installer will use a bulk sheet of film
2. skills is even more important here than precut because, from what we have seen over the years, there is tremendous risk with "custom" installers because of razor cuts in paint
3. custom application can be done, because we provide this service, but there are very few installers that can perform this type of craft well.

I just had mine done and on the bumper area it's in three pieces, with two seams. Not exactly what I had envisioned.....

Thanks
Mariano did my GT3 and '09 Carrera -- one piece template cut front wrapped behind the lights. 3M. Looks great on Meteor Grey or black.

Just had mine done here at Ruf - Hans and the guys took great care of me and it needs a wash but looks like Houston did it up right. All ready for the track tomorrow.

Just received it back without the jigsaw puzzle 3M covering.

Top : Before
Bottom: After

One piece really does look sooooo much better.

glad to see the fix. Now you have it done correctly. My complete front end is covered to the doors. Each panel was done with a single sheet.
