I know a few other guys who have loads of $$$ that feel the same way.

The 997.1 GT3 is a better all around car than the 996 GT3. No question.

I guess it depends what you are looking for.
I'm with you Chris. I could buy whatever GT3 variant is available, but the 6-GT3 appeals to me more. Although I do have a soft spot for a white 7.1 RS with PCCB like CorS car.

Down the road I'll either be driving an RS variant or much more likely keeping my current car and it'll be stripped to reduce as much weight as possible and it'll spend a few weeks with Sharky for a 3.9 update. 500 ponies in a lighter than normal 6-GT3 sounds like the next "logical" step. Easy to sell to the wife too:

"Dear, I can either spend $75K on an upgrade to a GT3 RS or spend $25K at Sharkwerks."

yellow car did 1:38 on mpsc with 4.0 ring and pinion. the rest are the usual pads, safety mods. i am pretty certain that he could do 1:37 if there's no traffic and give him 5-6 clear laps.

black car did 1:37 either on khumo or mpsc wit moton CS. the rest are just safety and pads. i am fairly certain that he could have done 1:37 without the moton.

...and my wife is sitting in the other room right now and she has no idea what choice I'll be giving her down the road.

Just gotta get some house renos done first before I drop another $25K into the car. It's all about balance.
