Trust me on this one; it’s worth watching over & over & over again!! I’m particularly fond of the outcome as we used too be on the short end of almost every race back in my 356 days at Riverside raceway against the big HP corvettes!!

After Mag purposely tried to spin Jorg. As our parents used to say (at least mine did), two wrongs don't make a right: stewards should've DQ'd em both. But then that doesn't sell tickets or make for much of a championship.

Mag did push and there by unsettle the car, Jorg just defended his position. No BS about how it came down. Mag was very aggressive, in fact, he overtook him using pit out which, as we all now, is against the regs. Indeed, the result was justified.

Live by the sword, die by the sword.

GM racing, IMHO, lives by that "punt and pass" strategy when racing deeper braking Porsche... and you know the saying, "Live by the sword, Die by the sword."

Fantastic! Bravo Bergmeister.

BTW, I wonder if the 55 kilo weight penalty the Porsche was forced to carry actually HELPED him in those defensive moments?

BS, Nascar move by Magnussen. He got what he deserved. He played tough and then paid for his over aggressive action. No tears shed here.

Default Pics from the Race

I've just uploaded over 200 pics from the race. You should be able to see them on my page:

Friend me if you are unable to see them. Race was amazing. I spoke with Joerg and Patrick before the race and as we all know, they are a class act. I feel that the Corvette team took a cheap shot and Joerg was having none of it.

Also, having the high beams on the entire time behind Bermeister didn't help. What kind of lame crap is that? Gee try blind your opposition to gain ground? Pass on pit out? LAME!

That tap after the turn was just stupid tactics, yes he needed points, but a real driver in ALMS does not "hammer" someone then fight against a wall.

Like of like the battle at Grand Am when FBL car and Pontiac tangled and both got flats. That too was a battle to the end and both ended up paying.

Just stupid that races cannot be won on real talent as opposed to over aggressive driving.

^^^this guys got talent....as you know I'm sure

Watching the aggression it was pretty clear he was just frustrated at his inability to get by him. I'm sure his radio was screaming at him to do whatever he had to in the end to pass him. He should have had a stop and go for that blatent move into the pit exit lane. I think that's the real error Mag made. Jorg knew Mag had the jump on him after 11 after that PUNT attempt the Vette made. Jorg squeezed him in good form imho

That's racing. Good finish in my book.
