Default Clear spray on bra

My clear bra leaves parts of the front of the car exposed because it is not a custom job.

It is starting to look ugly with the black lines where it is coming up a bit and it is pretty scratched and getting yellow behind the wheels freom the heat.

Anyone tried the spray on clear bra?
Does it protect the car the same as the stick on stuff on the track?

If anyone has used it good or bad, let me know please!

No experience with the clear stuff, but I have used Griots spray on bra (it's grey) with good results on the track.

Fair warning - it comes off easily enough, but it's challenging to get it out of all the nooks and crannies.

Just have it re-filmed! You can even get the whole finish filmed, seen it all the time on those that want total protection.

Film is cheaper than re-shooting and blending a panel.

That's why it's replaceable.

Great recommendation from Chris especially when it comes to those who received a precut film installation over a custom. As mentioned though, this product is a bit tough to get all out from the body seams.

As for the sprayed on "clear bra", not the kind that Chris referenced to, is not recommended by us. The product is permanent and is applied at the paint shop just like it would be done like paint. We recently had a customer had a detailer attempt to remove this stuff and ended up taking it to the body shop to have the entire hood sanded off and repainted. The clear spray on is a permanent bond to the clearcoat, so the only way to remove it is to sand.

Just a thought.. taping over the body seams before spraying-on the temporary bra would probably make removal much easier. That's assuming the spray bra will stick to the tape.

If I tracked regularly, I'd just have a custom clear bra installed and let it do its thing - no spraying or cleanup at all.
