Georgeous car! Congrats!
I have been unable to get black wheels for my Nov build white car. The dealer's configurator will add black but rejects silver (which is added for black wheels). So, I wonder if they screwed up or just can't get them yet. Anyway, Ti would be my pick.
Yeah, it better be a bunch faster and am sure it will be.

Picked up the car this afternoon and got 40 (mostly) conservatively driven miles in before school zone/school bus traffic set in. My V1 and Laser Blinder are also not yet in the car, so had to chill.
Specs:
* The dealer screwed up on my order - the car arrived with the standard titanium colored wheels. I had been pretty sure all along that this was happening (despite their assurances to the contrary) over the past 4 months, since it did not show up on the order sheet - they kept saying that since it's a no-cost option, it would not be reflected thereon. Luckily, the owner's personal Arctic Silver car is coming in 2-3 weeks with silver wheels, and he has agreed in writing to swap wheels at no cost. The silver will "pop" much better against the Meteor.
Very tentative first impressions - steering is even tighter and more telepathic than that of my previous (very stiff & low) 40th Anniversary 996; (steel) brakes are super touchy and will require driver recalibration. Acceleration does not seem dramatically better than my old car up to 4K or so, and of course I can't go much past that until she's broken in; clutch does not seem overly heavy to me, despite reports to the contrary. When Sport button is engaged, exhaust is hooligan-approved (though not too raucous at low revs), but there's definitely a cabin drone at 3-4K, especially under moderate to heavy throttle; rear visibilty is compromised (as others have reported) by wing, but not to the degree that I feel it will ordinarily keep me from seeing John Law behind me in traffic. I made it up my girlfriend's fairly steep driveway with no scraping, just by taking the angle I always did in my old car; no problems on speed bumps either.
All I have now are cell phone pics - more to come soon with a proper camera.
Does anyone know how to get iPhone contacts to download to the CDR-30? My phone is synced but contacts did not download. Service guy said it would happen after an hour or so, but no go...

Triode:
Does this look like silver vs titanium wheels? Pulled these shots off two different dealer's websites. I believe both cars are Meteor Grey although only one is identified as such on dealer's website (other just says Grey). Anyway, a little hard to tell given the variations in photo lighting and quality, especially for the wheel close-ups.

Painting the wheels any color requires option 346, which is not available yet.
