I have been reading / following this thread about the Bridgestone RE-11. Tire seems to be getting excellent reviews.

Just got back from 1200 miles over four and a half days on the Blue Ridge Parkway and the wonderful roads of West Virginia. 80% of it was in pouring rain. The roads were always wet. We had some portion in thick fog. Even a bit of snow, that thankfully didn't lay. A GT2, GT3, and 997 Carrera – all three with PS2s. Rock solid all the way. When it's wet (or dry), we LOVE these tires! Not to mention how great the cars are. Up and down the mountain. Screaming the revs. Tight turns. Sweepers. All day. It was so much fun.

Default Michelin Pilot Sport PS2...

Highly recommend the PS2's performance in the wet or dry...

Ps2 melt when I track in the dry. Wet they are are great but in the dry they just have strings of rubber coming off

I really don't like tracking on PS2 when the weather is changing - starts off rain and then dries out. When the track dries and I still have PS2's on the car, I destroy the outside edges in no time. I've wasted too much money on PS2's that way. Now that I'm trailering, I need to bring a pit crew with me to the track so I can change tires faster.

agree, hope to see you in Seattle before the season ends. Are you getting ready for the Olympics? I have a friend with a house at Whistler. It is unreal what he is getting for rent.

Driving season is over for me. Winter mod season is just beginning. Too much other stuff going on right now too. Wish I had a house in Whistler to rent - it would easily pay for Motons. I'm too far out in the sticks to make renting feasible.

Too bad about the RE11 sizing. No good for rear 18" GT3 wheels. Maybe by the time my PS2s wear out?
