I am going to post some "interesting" photos here over the next few days.

Let's start with a Porsche!

Any chance you can get a couple of part numbers off the Cup car?
the a/c parts would be interesting (and that bonnet intake)
the wing and uprights
There's a padlock on the front?
And that looks like an enamel badge, not a sticker on the hood/frunk/bonnet.
I guess those are the lightweight headlights.
I wonder if they're allowed the li-ion battery in the Cup

I presume the angry cat door mirrors are the same as the last model.
The front fender wheel arche entensions should bolt onto the RS ...
I wonder if the wheels are compatible (RS and Cup) ?

Default Another one in the series!

Cool blue, pun intended, from the new F458

The color changes (yellow/green) for the engine, tires and brakes as the car warms up and is ready to go on the track (warranty voided!); and turns red when overheated!

Is this informative or taking "idiot lights" to a new level? Additional posts will confirm the former.

The 993 had a nice, big, friendly exclamation mark to draw your attention to whatever idiot light with the brilliant idea of having a switch to turn off the exclamation. The 997 has lost that switch, which is a step backwards. Why we don't have fully user-configurable heads-up displays by now, I don't know.

We don't?!?! Then why is the PCM manual larger than the owners manual?

Thanks for sharing phtographs and information from your trip.

Since you brought up "idiot lights" I wonder if Porsche AG can go back to a dipstick so the engine oil level can be measured accurately?
