They are taking deposits, but the dealer can only actually spec the car as soon as the dealers get allocations.

I've been waiting for that pull back for 6 weeks, hoping that it helps the dollar to make a small come back short term... Not looking that good, I do better at casino's.

You're right on, stock market is exactly like casino too. All those experts/financial advisors' opinions are useless, it is pure luck as far as I'm concerned.

BTW I've put down my $1000 deposit in one of my dealer for the RS, but this dealer is relatively small and they don't know if they'll get an allocation. They sold just one .1RS last year. We'll see...at least I'm their #1 spot.

My deposit is actually 10k at a small dealership, it was placed one month prior to the offical announcemet by Porsche that they will build and ship the RS to NA. The dealer has indicated then that the size does not matter " I think it always does"...but that is a topic for another discussion. and that the most important factor is a customer who is willing to show commitment by placing a serious deposit??? so we shall see

oh, the dollar would need a whole lot more help than 6 weeks of pull back..
then you will get hit by inflation once we get out of the sh*t hole.....

my investment advise is as follow:

1. buy gt3
2. drive to vegas and put it on the table
3. what's left, use it in the hotel room with something "hot".

no wonder i got fired....
