Default Would you spec this colour scheme for a 997.2 GT3?





Exterior
Side mirrors painted in deviating colour = CNZ (but in black instead of red)
Wheels Painted in dev colour = CRX (Red)
Rear wing painted in dev colour = ? (black)
Wing end-plates painted in dev colour = ? (black)
Rear logo painted in dev colour = CUC (Red)
GT3 decorative film logo set = 997.044.802.57.84A (Red) from Tequipment

No, I would not. The white/red color scheme worked well with the '73 RS, but not with the 911 of today. IMHO

No.

Let's see, spend a lot of money on custom paint that will repulse most people if ever I were to sell it. As a result, making it much harder to sale and having a lower resale value.

No since USA Porsche dealers are going to fu@k loyal buyers again with the RS I wouldnt spec $hit from PCNA. Now that I know that I dont feel so hot about buying the one I have. It certainly has taken the sheen off the marque.

I like the idea of black mirrors and wing. These photos don't do the white/red justice -- the photos look milky and dull, but Carrara white is a solid white and the red is appealing.

You might try the red tail lights as well.

I think this combination could do well for resale appeal too.

Although I have seen that white/red gt3 in person, it's a forum members car, and it looks good!
