Just to answer some questions here:

1. yes, it is reversible and will not damage OEM paint
2. as one of the members mentioned, the lower the cost the more likely you will get a lower grade installation / product
3. we have seen paint cuts on scores of vehicles with vinyl wrap (not performed by us of course). Most people here do not know how much cutting and trimming is involved in wrapping an entire car. Whenever we received vehicles coming back from some type of event that was wrapped in vinyl.....we would see razor cuts in the paint. It is only revealed when the vinyl is removed. Again, skill / experitse plays an important role in not only how the end result is, but also whether or not there is permanent damage to your paint from cutting on the car
4. The vinyl will last about 4 years. Expect areas behind tires and the front bumper to seem some wear and tear from road debris

So true about the cuts into the paint. It happens with PPF (clear bra) and wraps; and most owners never know it until it is removed one day, which is often not the original owner. I have seen it myself many times on cars that I was re-wraping with PPF. Just the other day I did a Club Coupe (1 of 50) and the entire front bumper had cuts along the entire clear bra that was installed. Probably about 6 or 7 feet of cuts into the clear.

Wrapping an entire car in PPF or cast vinyl is an art. Do your homework and don't look for the best price, otherwise you will get the exact opposite result of what you wanted and more than likely will not know it. You put on PPF to protect the paint, and so many installers damage the paint badly while trying to protect it.

I would bet money that that at least 10 - 15% of 997 GT3/RS owners on this forum with clear bras have cuts into their clear coat and do not know it (possibly several feet in length). For your average car with PPF, i would guess that number is closer to 50%!

Now this is a good looking matte black car. The bright orange is a good contrast and makes the car "pop". Otherwise I think they look primed and ready for a paint job. I actually think they look bad. Don't know how it got so popular. I think it's just a faze people are going through now and in a few years you won't see it anymore.

If you used wrap for some striping, once you remove it, will there be a difference in the original paint from the covered areas and non covered areas (exposed vs unexposed to the weather)?

If the vehicle sees a lot of sunshine, then yes it is quite possible. Matte films and vinyls are blocking UV rays. However, it should not be an issue if the vehicle does not sit outdoors for most of the day.
