Decals not to your taste, hopefully a simple delete

After all, we are talking about the ultimate driving tool...

Yep, it seems so. Hmm now with the decals removed...i suddenly miss it..kinda looks too plain without it hahaha.

I removed the graphics via Photoshop myself the first 20 minutes after I downloaded the wallpapers! It does look naked without the graphics...I'll agree. I'll also agree that the ride is righteous for all the reasons everyone has listed.

However...I spend an inordinate amount of time just looking at my rides...especially when I go down to the garage just before I retire to admire the lines. I don't think it's asking too much for decent graphics especially when I'm about to drop 140k, is it?

What could have been: Aubergine, Raspberry, Signal Red, Mint, Rubystone, Linen, Carmine Red, Signal Yellow, Chartreuse, Leaf...

BUT: I cant wait to drive it, because it sure looks like Weissach listened to those who wanted more differentiation. Also like all the styling tweaks aside from the Ralleye Transsyberia graphics, and the good news is those will (hopefully) be easily deleted.

Hell, I might just have to peel them off the press car!

+1

In fact, as much as it is a tradition, all graphics and orange/red wheels are starting to look a little forced.

... red wheels seem to have some pedigree, I wonder if there was a similar discourse when these 'outlandish' decals and rear wing appeared some 22 years ago...

Those outlandish decals and wheels from 22 years ago were directly lifted from a 911 that is now 37 years old

... ah yes Grant, quite right, the CS is a mere upstart compared to your veteran '73 RS

The prototype script was even closer to the one used on the 88 Club Sport (not in negative like 73RS production version). Here it is in Blue:

I thought he was referring to the RS's of the past (which were all in negative, except for 993 which didn't have any scripts at all).

My favorite, it reminds me of the Ferraris, Alfas, Lancias from the 70s.

I'm getting my wheels custom painted in that shade of Gold, becuase the OEM gold wheels have too much orange on them and don't look as nice.

Rosso Scuderia + black calipers + gold wheels
