Post Video: SharkWerks 997 GT3 Track Exhaust

Hi guys,
We've had many requests to make a louder, track-oriented exhaust system for the lucky 997 GT3 owners who are driving these cars mostly on the track instead of the street.

So we did.

This exhaust system was designed by SharkWerks to minimize restriction and weight on a Porsche 997 GT3 for track use. Removes 57 pounds from the rear of the car. Fits 2007-2008 GT3 and GT3RS models, 2010+ GT3.

This is just a sneak-peak at what this exhaust is all about, but we wanted to show a video today.

We haven't measured it yet, but I have a good feeling it will not pass the Laguna Seca sound check.

LOL I'll have to say no I think it would trigger tremor-like results on a seismic graph No way it would pass at Laguna. It's loud and for track guys (with no restrictions on sound) who also want to save some weight.

Yes even a stock car fails. I bet the 2010 does too....

Do you have a photo of the exhaust system somewhere?

How does this compare to the AWE Exhaust System? Or Cargraphic system?
Thanks!

Any power gains or losses? Does it work with sport mode to give a relatively quieter sound while you are wanting to be a little more stealthy?

Is this the same straight pipe system you made for Fred's car a while back?

Dan/Alex, that sound is just Awesome!! I just installed your by-pass and Evoms for my 7GT3 (my order was placed by Flat6 guys in Miami area), What else do I need in order to complete this set up? Will the software still be OK?

I rechecked the video and you can see rear resonators ahead of the outlets, so this is a new system.
