Air Bag Module?
I own an '07 997 GT3. Like many, I've replaced the OE seats with Recaro racing shells.
This, of course, means no more side air bags that live in the OE seats. Also, an excursion into a tire wall last fall which deployed the driver air bag has guaranteed that the air bag warning light illuminates every time the car is turned on!
Is there available a plug-in module which will trick the system into thinking my car still has side air bags? If so, who sells them? Ideally, such modules should also incorporate something that allows the passenger air bag to be turned on.
