Easy solution... Check options and if all of the ones you ordered are there and the dealer just has "more", negotiate to buy the car for what yours is priced at. If that happens, you get the color you wanted most AND $3k in free options.
As to launch car - I don't think there's much to that in such a limited run car. In the original 997s there were some items worked out for 2006, but with the new GT3 I doubt there would be anything different today vs. a few months from now.

Thats exactly it, the car has everything I ordered, just more. It is really boils down to a matter of color, if I can get the car at the same price.
