The rear seats just pop out of a new 997.2 C2S so since some GT3 drivers want rear seats, is Porsche going to put rear seats in it for kids? Or same as always.
Seems like the New cars have pop out rears they would put rears in GT3s and just let the owner decide IF and WHEN he pops em in.

It has been reported by drivers-republic.com in their feature review that the kidney-bowl sheet metal is single skin in 997 Gen2 GT3 in order to claw back some weight that was incurred due to the new LED rear lights which are significantly heavier than the old Gen1 items. Due to the single layer of metal, it is now not possible to install the seats in the rear. This according to Andreas Preuninger.
Hope this helps,

Would make sense OG... Especially as it is increasingly marketed as a road car capable of track use, even if it where an option... Sadly it ain't going to happen for the reasons stated above...
The kids end up missing out but who cares, they can save up and buy their own, lol-only joking...
