Brake Wire question
I have changed my pads front and rear a few times. The first time I took the effort to reconnect the pad wear warning sensors in the pads. Pain in the rSS.
The next time I did not reinstall them I just tied them off with a tie wrap out of the way.
My question hear is, has anyone unplugged the wire where it plugs into the harness? Can you remove the plug without upsetting the other plug in the harness. I don't need this device as I look at the pad wear every track day.
The next time I did not reinstall them I just tied them off with a tie wrap out of the way.
My question hear is, has anyone unplugged the wire where it plugs into the harness? Can you remove the plug without upsetting the other plug in the harness. I don't need this device as I look at the pad wear every track day.

Frank, if you just disconnect, it will throw a warning light. Cut the sensor wire after the connector and crimp the 2 wires together tie off and be done.
