Default Trade my Richard Mille RM004 for your GT3

Somewhat of an unconventional proposal for those p-car watch lovers out there.

I recently bought a Richard Mille RM004 split second chrono in Titanium. I have not worn it much as happens with these things and now thinking about selling it. Before I do that however, I wanted to see if there was any interest out there in a straight trade for a 2007-2008 GT3, as likely this is what I would get as a different toy. The idea came to me when someone offered to trade me a Bentley Arnage for it - not exactly my cup of tea.

If you know the watch you know the market value for preowned RM004 is right there with trading prices for low mileage 08 GT3. Watch is mint with papers, warranty, box, etc.

Whew. I am so glad I never developed an interest in watches. One ridiculously expensive passion is enough for me!

Good luck on the sale/trade.

Well, living in Manhattan the choice of expensive passions is somewhat limited to smaller objects. I've always found that next to cars, as far as mechanical things go, watches are a really good complementing option!

Depreciation on a Richard Mille is a lot less than on any modern Porsche. Odds are a Mille will increase in value over time. Nice watch!

Wow...I like watches and have some myself (of course none that expensive), but I never thought that a watch could actually trade for similar value as a 2007 GT3. Good luck with the trade / sale!

If you check out the Antiquorum auction site, you will find watches selling in the millions. Sr. Molinari, may I suggest you post in the "watches" forum as well?

Sean, you have to see one. All handmade and the micro engineering is astonishing. You also need the disposable income For those who appreciate the ultimate in mechanical things, the Mille watches are in the top rank along with serious complications from Patek Philippe and the boutique watchmakers who produce works of art in limited quantities. Last time I looked the Patek "Star" watch went for about 1.3 million at auction!!!!
