nahhh.. I want flat bottom and I am not a OMP fan... and I know if it was good enough for Shumacher then it should be good enough for me... it is good enough... so to speak I just prefer a slight flat bottom on the wheel.

I had the 996 cup wheel in my 996-3... paid a lot extra to have it say PORSCHE on the right spoke (from Gert)... waste

just a preference -- they are probably all made in the same factory anyway

someone smarter than me needs to sell an easy solution to me with instructions that are pictures :-)

I could use a horn sometimes.

if you are serious (i cannot tell) take a look at my 996-3 solution above using a factory blank switch on the dash...

I am serious and like what you did but just do not want to pay my local guy to figure it out at his hourly rate. A kit would be cool. A horn would be nice but I am just not willing to allocate money to it right now unless it was low $.

less than one hour at the dealer even... :-)

pretty simple from what I understand.

handy when a semi is merging into you...

the RAPFIX II hub allows use of horn and no phone cord. A 997 rennlister is currently using this set up successfully. the quick disconnect is super clean im told.

^ no sweat - I used a wing up/down Porsche rocker switch that activated the horn if I pushed either side of the button...

if they get stuck I can give you the cell # of the tech that did it and I am sure he would be happy to help
