Paul
Paul and anyone else, I have really been having a problem rotating the tries on the rims. I did the hair spray gig but the last time out with the hair spray was not at my home track and I was not running as hard as I do at Mid Ohio, so I am not sure it will work yet. Are you balancing your Hoosiers and are they spinning?

My R6s definitely rotate on the rims. I typically mark the inside of the rims and tires. The rotation is 90 to 180 degrees in a weekend. for that reason, and the tires' light weight, I don't balance them. Seems like a waste of money.

Someone said they get 25 heat cycles?? Mine are corded with roughly half that many 20 to 30 minute sessions.

I do balance them

I forgot about the rotation issue with hoosiers and didn't mark them to check

Will check next time

Mosport is a fast track (certainly has some heavy braking depending on your cars weight and hp) but it might not be the best track to see if rotation is occuring

My R888's rotate a bunch, fronts too, Rear under acceleration fronts under heavy braking. so what I did over the weekend was to swap left for rights and would spin then one direction and then spin them back to balance. People in the paddock are amazed that it happens, they look at you like your nuts.

What kind of alignment are you running?

25-30 HC's with track specific alignment.

R6's are like the peanut butter to the 997 chassis' jelly. Even on my heavy 997tt the R6's turn the car from a brontosaurus to a velociraptor.
