Default The 2007 GT3 RS is finally going up for sale

Website is up: http://web.me.com/wsna/Porsche_GT3_RS

I'll be building a website for the sale this weekend. If anyone is interested, you can email me at wsna@bellsouth.net. I now spend at least 75% of my time in Los Angeles and the Porsche is at my home in Bhm, AL (so I never drive it).

Car is special order white with a white painted mirrors and spoiler end caps. Less than 2,000 miles; no mods; no damage etc. Very loaded. One owner (me). MSRP was $148,880

Why post a for sale ad and not list a price?

Sorry, didn't list the price because I am building a website and forgot. I would like $138K for it ($10,880 below msrp).

Because a new one is coming in a few months...bigger engine more power...and they're trying to salvage the $$ while they can, knowing the big drop in values will occur the day the new one is announced......

define "diehard RS owners". those who drive 'em or those who just looked at 'em?

Those who felt got-to-have-it circa 2006-2007. I didn't mean to imply all RS' cars but a lot of them are showing up for sale lately.

Agreed, but it is too early to know for sure about the next RS.

I am hoping that it is a "significant" step up, but that will carry a significant price tag (Ferrari like pricing?). However, that will make the current RS very attractive "value" wise.

OTOH, if it is a small incremental improvement it makes the current RS very attractive (from a practical perspective), especially if it is becoming a regular model.

It is sort like what they say about Apple products, buy the 1st and 3rd generation products and skip the second generation because the improvements are too incremental.

Roll on Frankfurt!

ah. all my money will be on buying tires and such....
since jan 09, i put less than 1000 on the gt3 and RS. so i can't afford to keep them, nor do i have place to park them.

plus, if the next RS is any good, you can be sure i'll be over at your garage drooling over it heehee.
