And then you go and buy one for yourself...

Here is the link, with pictures of the car: http://web.me.com/wsna/Porsche_GT3_RS
Best viewed as slideshow.

I'm not selling in anticipation of a new RS. I just don't drive it and don't foresee driving it for at least a few years. For that matter, my F430 is also shown on the site above. While it says "not for sale" if I weren't to take a beating on that car, I would sell it also. I just don't drive anymore. When I do, I jump in the Range Rover Sport (one of the greatest cars I've ever owned) and run to the store or dinner.

Yikes! You choose a Range Rover over a GTR3RS and F430? You are way too jaded!

All in jest, no criticism intended.

Great car. Can't believe Porsche got away with charging $4k for Carrera White. OTOH, $9k for PCCB starts to look like a bargain against $16k for ceramics on the F430.

As of now, I'm not selling the 430. I paid a $50K premium (don't ask; long story; was supposed to have the 1st 2005 to hit the states; ended up with a 2006 1.5 yrs later), so have $280K in the car. My best guess; now worth about $180K to $190K.

Sorry, you're about $50k too high.

Just drive it and enjoy it.

Sorry guys, there is no way that my 430, with that sticker is worth only $130K. If you find a 430 for $130K, you would be a fool not to buy it. Anyway, moot point. I'm not selling. BUT, NYC123, I'm guessing that since you are asking $10K over MSRP on your RS, you must think mine is a steal at about $11K under MSRP. There is a $22K spread between what I'm asking and what you are asking, and yet just a $3K spread in MSRP. If I run into anyone who wants a new car (I think you only have 100 miles), and doesn't mind paying up, I'll send them your way.

I just checked. Out of 70 2006 430's for sale (wow that's a lot), there are only 2 under $160K and both have very, very high miles.

Check out FerrariChat. There's a beautiful Mediterraneo Blue 2007 F430 for sale, very high spec including carbon barkes, 7,500 miles, asking $160k, which is pretty much in line with the current market. Not a good time to be selling these types of toys.

BTW, your RS is spectacular. GL with the sale.

Thanks for all the interest. I forgot to post that this car sold. Someone bought (what I think) is one of the best looking and nicest RS's that there is.
