Gimme a break (and maybe you could give GM one too).
The Camaro is a terrific car. They did a great job with the design - it's modern and still reflects its past.
It's lightyears better than the Challenger and the Mustang. The Challenger weighs too much; the Mustang is stuck with a solid rear axle.
The base Camaro has over 300 HP with a V6 and it's priced very nicely. The SS will have Vette power.
GM is "fuct" but we all need them to succeed. Especially now that we own them.

It's hard to argue with 426-hp for $34,995 CDN (don't know what it is in the US). That being said it's undeniably a POS and will be a colossal failure. Transformers sucked too...

I really enjoyed the comments in this thread about Porsche being "retro". Very poignant.
Still a bit too much of the all too common angry Internet car forum hate talk/brand bias.
Since the government can't run anything (especially not the government) well, I fear their mis-managment of GM will lead them to kill 400+ HP cars like the Corvette and the Camaro and their best selling trucks. Of course the PC thing for them to do is to kill cars that don't get 50 MPG even if no one wants to buy them.

I can't believe they couldn't see what a disaster this car was when it was still on the drawing board. Why are all the US car companies designing cars with horrendous visibility? What is the point of that? I love my 20 year old 964 - I wouldn't do a straight trade for any of these new cars. Drove a brand new $156,000 Tesla today and even that I wouldn't do a straight trade for my old 964.
I guess no one has the guts to tell the king he doesn't have any clothes on in the US car industry.

^ the mustangs in the miller series - espesially Ted JR get around the track pretty well even with the antic rear axle. Any of you N.W. guys going to the Rose Cup?
