I was going to say that it would hard to confirm that the mounts are working properly, but I guess this is the official method. Also tests the proper operation of the LSD at the same time (2 stripes instead of one)

Indeed they were quite excited about the fact that you can now do Corvette-style burnouts and doughnuts in a 911. Strange but true.

How they affect throttle-response in high-g, high-speed driving I couldn't say as there weren't regular cars to compare them to.

One very noticable improvement with stiff mounts on the older 911's is the much greater shifting precision and accuracy.

Several GT3 owners (all generations) have commented that it's difficult to find 3rd gear when loaded in a corner and driving hard on a track. I bet these mounts make a big improvement there.

I have that same occasional shifting problem in my car at the track. Wonder if they could be retro fitted into other 911s.

My buddy Stu has that problem with his 997 GT3 at some tracks, very odd... My GT2 never had this issue though, I feel like it would be the same for any of the GT cars no?

I used to have problems getting it into 3rd when accelerating hard in a straight line. That's gone away over time.

Are those official numbers?

It does sound like these could be the 'must have' option offering a perfect setup: much better comfort when on the road accompanied by improved response when on track.
