Probably old info, but I just weighted my stock GT3 wheels with Pilot tires VS the 18" Volk wheels with Hoosiers:
Stock:
F49ea R61ea
Volk 18"
F42ea R49ea
Total weigh savings: 38lbs.
The car with 1/2 tank of gas is 3201 on the track without me in it. This is with the tools in the trunk and the manuals in the glove box ;-)
Front L 603
Front R 599
Rear L 1006
rear R 993

Hehe, not quite 3500, but definately 3450, either way definetely 75lbs heavier than Erik, but still faster at Homestead Raceway, but now he blames it all on my $20.00 Hoosiers.....
There will once again be an orange mist in my eyes again this weekend at Sebring. Maybe I'll even take out my floor mats, manual and the tools out of the trunk, like Erik.....
Sooner or later, I'll catch self proclaimed Mr. King of Sebring DE laptimes, I just have to keep repeating; "Squeeze the throttle, I have track insurance, Squeeze the throttle, I have track insurance......"
The truck and trailer is parked in front of my door, dieseled up, loaded with the 2 cars, spare tires, rotors and pads. Ready to go Friday afternoon!
