Yahooo!!! Just had a June build confirmed for a GT3.
My rep did a phenomenal job getting me a GT3 slot.
I spec'd the car as follows.
Basalt Black
Black Interior
Adaptive Sport Seats
Heated Seats
PCM w/NAV
Sound Plus
Sports Chrono Plus
Universal Audio
Blue Tooth
Self Dimming Mirrors
Mats
Washer Nozzles color matched
MSRP about $120k
I skipped the bling. This car can go above $140k quickly if you add PCCB's full leather, etc.
I'm keeping my Basalt Black 07 TT. The used car market is so depressed and the TT with GIAC tune and Bilstein's is a great ride. So looks like I'll have Basalt Black Twins.

The weight of two of those seats is equivalent to an extra 20 gallons of gasoline on board the car!
Holy crap.

I think that the weight of the standard GT3 seats is 22 kg each, roughly 48,5 lbs. They say that with the carbon seats you save about 10 kg each, which also sounds about right.
To each his own, but even the radio in the GT3 is purely for the time you are parked and the engine is off, any other time its just ballast.
Heated seats? Are you going to be using it in the winter with winter tires? I donīt think so since you are keeping your Turbo.
When I was ordering my car, I had a little bit of a different approach. A car like the GT3 is almost preordained to have a terse spec. PCCB is the best option and one of the few chosen ones that should be listed at all. These cars are made with a big emphasis on taking the weight out. So why pay for the absurd options and put the weight back in? Especially when you keep the comfort-mode Turbo?
The options list is where all car makers make the big money. Itīs bad enough that you have to pay for floor mats.

Exactly. The thing is, if you already have a Turbo, which is probably the daily Porsche, then the GT3 should be the antidote for the weekend. In that case I would ditch all of the options and bundle up the savings towards only PCCB and maybe the center-nut wheels.
By the way, the standard seats with the alcantara have never given me a reason to want heated seats. On top of that, the GT3 is the quickest car I have ever driven to heat up the interior. The oil is a different issue, but the water temperature just skyrockets. In the winter I take it out once a week if the roads are ok to keep everything in order, even in temperatures of about -10 C, so thatīs not a problem.

I always get a kick out of dealers advertising their well optioned Gt3s. To me a well optioned 3 is a zero optioned 3. I might tolerate pccb though. I wouldn't even want xenons.
The next RS would be White, full leather, sport seats and everything that saves weight. I track it to often to risk PCCB's. O and the roof antenna, because I have no radio reception in my car now, except for when I am at the dealer....
