Tim the absolute LATEST time frame is August. The only thing that could upset that is a GT3 guy
who wants to trade for my AMG OR a New C2S that I cant pass up.

But yea I am very comfortable with Turbos and that would be the most logical choice. If I was convinced I was fully healed I would be headed back to the GT3 Club.

I had a C6 Z06. Like most have said, it's fun but it's not the car the GT3 is. Exclusive of the power advantage, everything feels better in the GT3.. steering, shifter, drive-train, chassis solidity, quality, etc. It's got a lot of performance for the money, no doubt, but it doesn't have that honed-to-the-nth-degree feel that the GT3 does.

You can mostly thank GM management for that.. the car is built to a price point. I tell you what though, if the Corvette designers and engineers were let off the leash a little and free to build what they really want.. lookout. They already proved they could build a car that runs with the best of them.

yea, I am at about 38 gallons an hour. F**k global warming, oh wait they call it climate change now don't they. If you ever get to Seattle you can take a look at some of those crab boats. way too small for the sea states they work in. I have been in 50+ but that was in the Navy days.

TTRob,
I agree with you a 100%. IF they turned those guys loose you know
they would come up with a better seat than whats in a 1/2 ton pickup.
The price point is what kills them. AND if they get another 30K to play
with they pack it up with super performance stuff like the ZR1 instead of
properly finishing off the Z06

Yep... without adding a rear wing & bigger front splitter...

the front end does get "light" @ ~ 160 mph.

Hhmmm... you are only @ ~ 160 mph for a few seconds at VIR & Road Atlanta.

The significant difference between a C6 Z06 and upper end Porsches is the fit & finish... resulting in the higher Porsche price.
