i bet erik's gauge is peeling!
Probably, but that is because he lets it sit in his driveway for weeks at the time, baking in the Florida sun, along with his other cars, while he is polishing his black 930 slantnose in his 3 car garage...

My Carrera S has the optional black guages. I had to show the salesperson they were an option when I ordered it.

LOL, black doesn't peal

Besides, just like an orange painted console, everybody knows that Porsche adds 30 HP to the red poser gauges just so that they can keep up

Any pics in WHITE or YELLOW?
I didn't say that Black was the easiest to read. In case you missed it, the title of this topic is "what Instruments Dial color do you like?"

Personally, I like Black face guages much better than White.

I did say that the GT3 tach would be easier to read with a Black face than the standard Silver one. White numbers & Yellow markings really do show up better on a Black background than a Silver one. There's more color contrast.

Red, yellow or silver with matching belts. One of my gauges had a couple of bubbles and think that it was due to the protective film: https://rennlist.com/forums/showthre...ferrerid=45672

So if you order optional color on gauges it's done with stickers??

I was leaning towards white but after reading all the posts I'm starting to rethink...

Painted center consoles in orange RS-es are definately more go-faster than red dials in a regular GT3... Everyone knows this as a fact.

+1 for black. No option cars are the coolest....
