Great thread revival! Love the new intakes.
After 14 years driving a 997 I think the single most important ingredient to make VTGS runs well without pulling timing is good fuel. Anecdotally been using Esso Supreme for last few months and find mine runs even nicer on their fuel.
On pump 0-300kph in 25/26 secs and on race gas 22/23 secs. I went with generic big pack d088 intercoolers. Probably no good for track work as larger so will heat soak. Up a runway over twenty to thirty 0-200-0 back to back runs they are pretty consistent. Night and day better than GT2 RS intercoolers for that type of work at VMAX I run 210 to 215mph top speed at VMAX as opposed to 201mph to 206mph depending if a warm day or cool day. Thats quite a delta since upgrading.

Also forgot to mention do88 do a higher spec version for 991 GT2 RS. Pretty sure they'd work on 997 too
