PORSCHE REPORTS MARCH SALES IN CANADA
MISSISSAUGA, April 1, 2009 – Porsche Cars Canada (PCL), importer and distributor of Porsche sports cars and Cayenne SUVs, announced March 2009 sales of 172 units, a 9.5% increase over March 2008’s total of 157. The introduction of the new, more powerful and more efficient Boxster and Cayman models reignited interest in Porsche’s mid-engine range, with 86 units sold, compared to 47 in March 2008. Through the first three months of 2009, PCL’s year-to-date sales are 364 versus 406 in 2008, a decline of 10%. Porsche sold 42 Certified Pre-Owned vehicles in March 2009, compared to 35 in March 2008.
