new gt3rs?

I am pretty sure the "BB" plates are in fact the Porsche AG registration plates . . . . First letters represent the town of registration (here, Boeblingen I believe, which is a suburb of Stuttgart). So, this looks real. Car looks sweet.

Car is to be shown at Frankfurt in the early fall. I assume sales will begin shortly after as Porsche usually shows the final car close to the actual sales date. Any guesses on how far 997.1RS values will now fall?

It is 100% Boeblingen. If you do a factory delivery with Mercedes the tourists plates they give you are from Boeblingen and not from Stuttgart. I have my plates still with me here.

Does this meanz Porsche are gonna bring the regular GT3 into the US with a sunroof; as I don't know how they're gonna make the GT3RS lighter (on paper) than the GT3 if they don't?
With the 997 mk1, Porsche could justify the price difference by claiming exclusivity, but they cannot really do that now, as they've shown GT3RS's will be part of the line-up for every new model range.
But everything is proceeding as I have foreseen, and soon I'll be able to strike on a mk1 997 GT3RS!

Thanks, it has been sometime since I have logged in. Used to own a 911 Ruf BTR(type 930), than jumped to the Murcielago for 3 years and just sold it recently. Now I am seriously looking into getting back into the Porsche scene with the new 997 GT3 RS Mk2 which will be in Singapore by end this year.
